Fort Worth Team Makes Positive Impact at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens

Quorum’s Fort Worth Quorum team recently demonstrated their commitment to the community and environment with a meaningful volunteer effort at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens.

The team selected the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens for its historical significance as Texas' oldest major botanic garden, established in 1934. This choice allowed the volunteers to engage outdoors while preserving a local treasure.

"This volunteer event gave me the opportunity collaborate with my colleagues in a unique way outside of work, give back to my community, and enjoy some time in the beauty of the botanic gardens,” said DevOps Engineer II Nick Scroggins.

The team engaged in hands-on tasks during the effort, including cleaning out plant and flower beds, weeding and participating in routine garden maintenance.

"The captivating ambiance of the Botanic Gardens, our lively coordinator Renee, the overall fun of the tasks and the team lunch afterward all added up to be a productive and gratifying experience,” said Senior Product Owner Heidi Cope.
