Calgary Employees Partner with Dress for Success to Help Community
Natacia Boykiw decided to spearhead a clothing and toiletry drive in the Quorum Calgary office to benefit Dress for Success with the goal of connecting employees to build the team while supporting the community.
“After spending two years working from home and not seeing our colleagues, I wanted to feel connected again”
Natacia was initially introduced to Dress for Success through her involvement with the employee-led Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) committee. When she learned about the mission of Dress for Success, she decided to support her local Calgary chapter.
“This was my first time leading a collection drive, so I wasn’t sure how much employees would donate,” said Natacia. “I was absolutely blown away by the level of support employees showed. We came together in a big way!
“When we packed everything up into my truck for drop-off, it almost didn’t fit”
“I was really excited to support the Dress for Success collection drive with Natacia because I felt it would make the world of difference for Women to be able to ‘dress for success,’” said Linda Mills. “I encouraged the women at our Calgary office to contribute as much as possible because it's very important for every woman to feel great about themselves. I think it was a fantastic way to show how Women support Women.”
