Customer success is a crucial building block to the framework of Quorum Software, driven by satisfaction, experience, and delivering value in our products. Our customers rely on us to help solve their most significant business and process challenges. As the industry and technology evolve, this requires continuous innovation and new initiatives that propel our solutions forward. How do we stay on the right track, building the best oil and gas software for our customers and prioritizing our efforts to meet their needs?

Let me introduce you to the Customer Advisory Board (CAB).

What is a Customer Advisory Board?

The CAB is Quorum’s panel of trusted advisors made up of our customers. This customer group is an extension of our product team that offers advice and requests to shape our business and roadmap. It is a continuous program with a clear charter, schedule, and roles and responsibilities for both Quorum employees and customers.

As part of the CAB, customers actively engage on a strategic level to influence our product roadmap, share opinions, and collaborate with peers. For Quorum, this ensures a true partnership with our customers by aligning their needs and industry trends with our roadmap. Collaboration guarantees we are building something useful to the community.

How is the Customer Advisory Board structured?

The CAB includes six industry groups that meet quarterly to discuss important topics relevant to their respective sector:

  1. Division Order & Revenue Accounting
  2. Financials & Cost Accounting
  3. Land
  4. Measurement
  5. Pipeline
  6. TIPS Gathering & Processing

Four roles contribute to each of the CAB sectors: Sponsor, Secretary, Director, and User.

  1. Sponsor – Quorum product leader who works with CAB Directors to facilitate planning and meetings and address any action items
  2. Secretary – Quorum product leader who coordinates communications and materials to support the meetings
  3. Director – Customer leader, nominated by their peers, who advocates for the user community
  4. User – Customer who attends quarterly meetings to share feedback, collaborate, and guide our strategic direction

All Quorum customers are welcome to participate in the CAB, in any role. Joining the CAB is an opportunity to interact with other Quorum customers and share opinions, thoughts, and ideas to help shape the future of our company and oil and gas software.

Where does the CAB meet?

Each sector meets quarterly in an online meeting. Quarterly meetings serve as the primary forum to discuss key industry and product topics, as well as allow time for an open discussion and Q&A. These meetings also provide insight and sneak peeks into product updates and Quorum initiatives. Candid feedback is always encouraged.

Quorum typically hosts one of the quarterly meetings in-person during the Qnections user group conference. However, Qnections 2020 has transitioned to an online-only event this year.

Upcoming meeting dates are posted on our CAB web page. All members receive meeting invitations via email each quarter. While attendance isn’t required, participation ensures your voice is heard.

How do I join the CAB?

It’s simple. Email CAB@qbsol.com and let us know which industry sector(s) you would like to join.
