Fielding Systems to Unveil a New SCADA Dashboard Tile Feature for Enhanced and Easy Oil and Gas Production and Operations Data Visibility

Fielding Systems, leader in oil and gas software solutions, is excited to announce the unveiling of a new feature to ScadaVisor, the remote SCADA monitoring and field automation software offered on the Fielding Systems Platform. ScadaVisor has a new capability that allows for customers to take SCADA data and compile it so that management can see meaningful key performance indicators, updated in minutes not days. With this new feature, users will have the ability to track gas production against targets and know anywhere within the company, field, or pad level how well the company is doing against target values. Additionally, rolled up values can be applied to any group of devices, and as such support initiatives including nomination tracking and performance / forecast tracking.

The dashboard summary tiles can be pushed out to the tablets used for field data capture by pumpers so the key metrics can be rolled up on tablets. This feature allows well forecast to be sent to the pumper level so they can determine how they are doing at the well pad level against target.

Dave McCarty, Senior VP of Sales for Fielding Systems, comments, “The key value presented by this new capability is the ability to have an ongoing snapshot of key operational and performance data and then have the unique ability to drill down on any of the tiles to identify the key issues and/or relative information for any standard or custom groups of devices and locations.”

Further benefits of the new dashboard summary tiles feature include:

• Management can now identify in one screen all open alarms for all wells (or any select group of wells), all active flares, all zero flow wells, all wells experiencing downtime, compressor statuses
• Color coding for easily identifying issues
• Eliminates the need to look into multiple applications, dashboards, reports, etc. to determine if something needs addressed

Fielding Systems will be unveiling the new dashboard tile feature at the Well Site Automation Congress in Houston, TX, January 28-29, 2015. The inaugural Well Site Automation for Unconventional Oil & Gas 2015 congress will deliver 20+ operator case studies on providing solutions to the specific challenges of well site automation and remote monitoring for unconventional oil & gas wells. Speakers at the event will explain how to apply advances in SCADA systems, remote communications, flow measurement, safety shut down systems, alarm management, automated artificial lift & flow control to create a well site automation strategy that optimizes the productivity, safety & cost-effectiveness of unconventional oil & gas wells.
