Qnections Las Vegas 2024: Inspiring Performance Together

More than 700 attendees from around the world gathered this year in Las Vegas to inspire performance together for Quorum Software’s annual gathering, an event rooted in over 20 years of tradition. Qnections Las Vegas 2024 united customers, partners, and colleagues all in one place. It was a unique opportunity for collaboration and networking within a spectrum of expertise and industry knowledge ranging from those representing midsize operators, midstream providers and supermajors to the razor-sharp minds behind independents and disruptive start-ups.

Embracing the Digital Revolution

A homage to energy’s ongoing digital revolution, each year it refreshes the industry with new ideas and provides 360 degrees of thought leadership. Attendees explored cutting-edge AI trends and journeyed through product roadmaps for applications in the Quorum Energy Suite, including Upstream On Demand, FLOWCAL, Execute, and My Quorum. Nobody left without learning better ways to drive efficiency, enable new business models, and transform their own industry practices.

Immersive Workshops and Training Sessions

The event kicked off with a series of immersive workshops and training sessions led by experts from Quorum and other integral companies. Covering a wide range of subjects, oil and gas accounting principles, BI reporting, Enersight, Execute administration, and liquids measurement—attendees gained practical skills and heightened their knowledge to drive success from within their own roles.

Keynote Insights: Exploring the Future of Energy

One discussion that nobody wanted to miss was of the transformative power of generative AI, robust digital foundations, and other future implications in a profound keynote presentation by Quorum’s President and CEO Paul Langenbahn and EVP and Chief Product Officer Tyson Greer. They outlined Quorum’s strategic vision in AI integration, enhanced development processes, and proactive customer support.

Other captivating expert-led sessions opened a wide variety of different scopes on what the future holds for the world’s energy systems. Digital transformation’s latest discoveries and modern innovations in energy analytics also provided participants with valuable insights, setting unique perspectives.

Navigating Challenges and Opportunities

An Upstream Panel with CIO’s from Devon Energy and Diamondback Energy and other presentations by energy leaders from PwC and Dell Technologies, the new shapes of the energy landscape within today’s new crop of challenges. Panels led by chiefs from Energy Transfer and ONEOK allowed deeper insights into the evolution and growth of midstream operations plus strategic perspectives on business development and operational excellence.

Several panel discussions examined other critical issues that face the energy sector, including the future of midstream operations and navigating the energy transition. Actionable recommendations were available to help those looking to drive growth, enhance operations, and navigate an array of regulatory challenges.

Networking and Collaboration: Forging New Partnerships

Qnections also provided ongoing opportunities for networking and collaboration, allowing attendees to connect with industry peers, share insights and experiences, and forge new, now-possible partnerships. From meaningful, structured breakouts, attending the Qnections 24 Golf Tournament, and Tech Expo, the chance to forge lasting relationships and expand their professional networks all happened in one place, once again.

A Night at Hakkasan

The event concluded with a night of celebration and appreciation at MGM Grand’s Hakkasan, where guests could unwind, network, and celebrate a week of inspiration, highlighting the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and mutual appreciation that defined the event.
